Sammy (Fur-get Me Not Rescue, fostered Liverpool)

Sammy is a cuddly, older lady who likes a quieter life but still does get bursts of playful energy. She’s living in a foster home with an older Collie and they get on great, but she is not cat-friendly. Sammy has previously lived fine with children but is now looking for a peaceful retirement home.

Champ (RSPCA Macclesfield, fostered Cheshire)

Champ the Wonder Dog is a soppy Staffy lad who offers an abundance of love and affection to everyone. He’s mad about his walks and also sitting at the window watching the world go by. He needs to be the only pet in the home for all that lovely attention and cuddling.

Kane and Caesar (On the Way Home Dog Rescue, Cheshire)

Kane and Caesar are a bonded pair of gorgeous Cane Corsos who, sadly, have been used as guard dogs with minimum comfort. They are lovely, friendly, not at all aggressive and crave affection. They just need a loving home and time to adjust to the good life together.

Barney (Freshfields Animal Rescue, Liverpool)

Barney has a lot of love to give to the right person. He needs an owner with experience of nervous dogs as he’s a bit of a worrier. He’s lost weight with the stress of kennels so a permanent or foster home where he can relax is now urgent.

Bruce (RSPCA Crewe, Nantwich and District Branch)

Bruce is a friendly, affectionate chap, looking for an adult home as your only pet. He’s partially deaf but you’ll just need to use visual cues and be vigilant to keep him safe. You’ll need a garden and access to quiet walks where Bruce won’t meet lots of dogs.

Rufus (Dogs Trust Merseyside)

Rufus is a big, strong Labrador who loves his toys SO much! In fact, he loves them SO much that he will only be rehomed to an adult-only home. He’s fine with other dogs if there are no toys around, but does need to be your only pet.

Miley (Dogs Trust Merseyside)

Miley is a sweet and happy girl who loves to be made a fuss of. She is looking for a home where she can enjoy a relaxing home life and go out for pleasant walks. She might be 12 but she still loves to get out and about!

Coco (Dogs Trust Merseyside)

Coco is a lovely gentle boy who enjoys his walks. He gets along with dogs but would be best suited to being the only pet in a home where any children are older. He would make a wonderful companion for anyone looking for a pal.

Buster (Dogs Trust Merseyside)

Buster has the wiggliest bum! When he sees his carers he runs for his blanket and stands with it, like a puppy, presenting it. Handsome Buster would like a home as your only dog but can live with children aged 13+.

Buddy (Dogs Trust Merseyside)

Buddy lived on the streets with his owner for 8 years and not much fazes him. He enjoys a gentle stroll and loves a tennis ball. Although generally OK with dogs, he’d like to be your only one, but he can live with older children.

Rikki (Freshfields Animal Rescue, Liverpool)

Rikki is a large character in a small body. He is loyal and loving with those he trusts and will make you laugh every day. He wants to be an only pet in an adult-only home and he wants toys, good company and walkies galore. A Terrier lover’s dream dog!

Oscar (Freshfields Animal Rescue, Liverpool)

Winning over Oscar’s heart is like winning the jackpot! When he trusts you he dotes on you and is a cheerful, loving companion. He wants to be an only pet in an adult-only home. Most of all, he wants to feel safe and loved by that one special person.

Jackson (Freshfields Animal Rescue, Liverpool)

Do you like walks and have lots of toys but no one to play with them? Then Jackson is the boy for you! He wants a quiet home, someone who’s around most of the time and to know that he’s safe and loved. He especially likes to fall asleep on your lap.
