Sweet Suzie is a creature of habit!

Sweet-natured Suzie Shih Tzu came into Oldies Club rescue when her previous owner went into care. Suzie was fostered in County Durham and subsequently found a wonderful new adoptive home. Despite sweet Suzie having various ongoing health issues, she nevertheless continues to enjoy life and is proving to be a little character.

Her adopters have been in touch and they told us:

She sleeps on the bed, next to Anita, and she loves the garden. Her favourite walks are down the village high street, round the square, and from the post box on the estate to our home!!! Such strange places!!! She is a creature of habit and sticks to her regular route, even crossing the road in exactly the same place. Everybody loves her. She has three short walks a day and just goes as far as she likes.

She rules the house and we love her to bits. By the way, someone has taught her to beg. This came as a bit of a surprise. She actually begged in front of a man in the chemist who said he would bring her treats next time!!!

Suzie is such a lovable, well-behaved dog, it is hard to believe what she has been through. She deserves the best and we will always try to do our best for her. We are so glad she came to us and feel lucky to have had the chance to care for her.

You will notice she is no longer tan. Her pigment has changed colour because of her skin condition. Thank you again for your support and help.

Suzie having her regular skin treatment – luckily she thinks it’s a massage!
Suzie enjoying her ‘massage’ again!

We are so happy to see that Suzie is loved and adored. We couldn’t have wished for a better adoptive home for her and hope that she continues to enjoy her regular routes and routines!
