Butch is yet another oldie that comes as close to perfection as a dog can. He loves everyone - including cats, dogs and children, is impeccably behaved, and is active enough to enjoy nice walks. Someone is going to be very lucky when they take Butch home!

Major is a handsome and friendly older gentleman who has a way with the ladies! He also gets along with cats and parrots! He is a calm but active boy who doesn’t let his age keep him from enjoying his walks. What this lovely boy really needs is a nice warm fire to curl up by this winter. Sasha is a proper Poodle Princess and she’ll make a perfect companion for an older person or couple. She’s 9 years old and is a great little dog; happy to go out for short walks or just lounge around on the sofa watching the world go by. Have a look at her lovely video.

Nicholas arrived at Ardley with no fur at all, due to mange. He’s been treated and is recovering well, and he now just needs a weekly bath. Ardley will pay all vet bills for Nicholas. Can you offer him a permanent foster home within 30 miles of Bicester?

Poor Midge is a sad old soldier who desperately needs either a permanent home or a foster home. He’s had untreated arthritis for years but is doing well now he’s on medication. He should be fine to live with another calm dog. Can you help him?

Obi is a very special old boy as he is virtually blind in both eyes. He has been rescued from a pound where he was due to be pts and thankfully has been given another chance at life. 11 year old Gokey is a handsome character who doesn’t seem to realise that he is no longer a puppy! He is a fun, playful and affectionate lad who loves people and gets along well with children. He can live with other dogs, though he does enjoy playing with them ‘Boxer style’!

Dexter, a cute Basset x Corgi, is very sad to have been parted from his family and so we really want him to find his permanent home ASAP before he becomes too attached to his foster family. Dexter loves everyone and is good with dogs and cats. He can be left for a few hours too. Can Dexter come to live with you?

Paddy is a lovely, friendly Bearded Collie whose owner has passed away. Paddy is feeling sad and bewildered about his sudden change of circumstances. He loves children, seems good with dogs and is used to being left for a few hours. Can Paddy come to live with you?

Emma is a typical labrador, very friendly, bouncy and always on the go. She’d love to be the only pet in an active household, maybe with children of 10 or over. Emma would make a fantastic addition to a lively family.

Ben is a real star of a dog who has captured the hearts of all the staff and volunteers at NAWT. He is loving, sociable and well behaved and is happy to share his new home with other dogs and cats, but is not used to children. What a wonderful companion he will be for some lucky people.

Beautiful Abby really looks like she is enjoying playing in the snow. She is seeking a quiet retirement home after living with the same owner all her life. She can be a little nervous at first, but once she gets to know you, she is a playful and loving girl. She hopes that you will take the time to get to know her before taking her to her new forever home.

Dave is a cute little Yorkshire terrier who is 17 years old. He still enjoys going out for a short stroll and a sniff, though his main priority at this time in his life is a nice warm place curl up and nap until it’s time for his next meal! Can you offer little Dave the home comforts and love he deserves?

Can you help Fudge, the handsome collie cross? He has sadly been unable to experience a proper doggie life so far. He is a lively boy who is only 7 years old and really deserves a chance to shine. He would thrive in a loving and active family environment. He gets along with other dogs and children.

Beautiful Brandy would make a wonderful canine addition to the family. She gets along with children, other dogs and even cats. Although she can be a little shy at first, once she gets to know you, she really lets her lovely personality shine. She is an active and excitable girl for her age and she loves attention.

Cally and Bella are best friends and would love a home where they can be together for the rest of their lives. They would be fine to live with older children but would prefer to be the only animals in their new home so that they can get all that love and attention for themselves.

Sonny wants to make a big impression so he’s striking his best pose and hoping to get noticed. He’s an eight year old Staffie boy with a friendly nature and he’d be happy living with older children (10 yrs+). Please consider letting him be your canine companion.

Tyler’s story is a sad one - he has missed out for such a long time, on living a normal doggie life. He really wants to be a happy dog, but just needs to be shown how. His new people will know as soon as they read his story that they are the ones to turn his life around - if that is you, then please come forward asap..

Can you help Jack? He hasn’t had a great life so far and the people at HULA are seeking a very special permanent or foster home for him where he can have the love and home comforts he deserves in his retirement. He is a wonderful old chap who, despite his difficulties, loves people. He wants all the fuss and attention for himself, so he would have to be your only dog.

At seven and a half years old, Bert and Ernie are still quite young at heart and they enjoy regular walks. They’ve been together since “puphood” so would be delighted if someone offered them a home together. They’re an affectionate pair who love children and could live with other dogs.

Miss Sparkley is really hoping that she will be spotted asap, as she really needs the chance to shine. Isn’t she just the most glamorous girl you have ever seen?? Surely you can budge up and make a space for her on your sofa…..she really hopes so

This handsome boy is Ozzy, a lurcher about 8-10 years old. He urgently needs a foster home or ideally, a forever home. He has a sad story to tell and needs a caring home where he can gets loads of tlc and in return he will be a faithful and loving companion. Ozzy gets on well with other dogs and loves cuddles.

Snowflake has suffered an abusive past so she’s looking for an extra special person to spend the rest of her life with. She’s a real sweetheart who will bond quickly once she trusts you and she loves to do a Staffie “leap of faith” into your arms. Could you be Snowflake’s lifelong friend?

Poor Tara has spent most of her life in a crate, used for breeding, so she’s desperate to experience all the finer things in life that she’s missed. She’s 8 years old and has the most wonderful temperament.

Eleven year old Patch was rehomed in Nov 09, but is sadly back in rescue due to a change in his owner’s working hours. He’s a friendly boy who loves children and he’ll fit perfectly into a family environment.

Sonny is sweet natured Staffy boy who has a lot of love to give. He has had a run of bad luck recently and has found himself back in rescue through no fault of his own. All he wants is a place to call home with people who love him. He gets along with other dogs and children and would make a wonderful companion.

Sky is a well-behaved, playful 15 year old collie girl. She’s lost her loving owner but has adapted well to her change of circumstances. Sky’s great with dogs and cats and she absolutely adores children. She’s simply collie perfection!
