12/6/18 – Very sad news – Bud passed away unexpectedly at the weekend. Freshfields’ vet believes Bud may have suffered a heart attack in his sleep. Rest in peace, Bud.

Big, beautiful Bud, a 7 year old Bull Mastiff boy, arrived at Freshfields Animal Rescue in Liverpool as his owner was struggling to care for him. He was then rehomed, but he sadly finds himself back in rescue after an incident with a child in the home, which was such a shame as he had been perfect with the children previously.

Let us begin with a direct quote from Freshfields: “Wow, where do we start with this boy! He has instantly won us all over with his lovable nature, he really is just one big baby.”

Bud is looking for a home where he is your only pet and without children. He also needs someone around for most of the day. Bud’s new owner will need to be physically capable of walking him. He will need a strong, active person to take him for his daily walks.

Bud is neutered. He is a gentle giant with a very big heart. He will make such a loving and loyal companion. Could you offer him a fun, active new home?
