10/11/18 – We are very sorry to hear that Tess has sadly passed away. Sleep tight beautiful Tess.

————–

Tess is a lovely, black and white Border Collie aged around 10 – 11 years and she is looking for her new, forever home with the help of the RSPCA Westmorland Branch.

Tess is an affectionate and playful girl once you get to know her. She’s quiet but full of love and really enjoys lots of fuss and attention. She knows how to sit and lots of other commands and can be left alone for short periods.

Tess would prefer an adult-only home as she is looking forward to a peaceful retirement and she’d like to be the only pet so she can have all the love and attention.

Tess is healthy in all respects other than, unfortunately, she has been overweight for quite some time and this has caused some damage to her back legs. It’s anticipated that she will improve considerably as she loses weight. However, some aspects will not be repairable and she will probably always need pain relief.

Tess is enjoying getting used to walking a little bit further each day and she loves to romp around the play area where she will chase toys as best she can. With a ‘little and often’ exercise regime and a sensible diet, no doubt Tess will shed those extra pounds and be able to live the happy life she deserves in her own loving home.
