Pretty Senorita Millie! (Oldies Club, fostered West Dorset)

Pretty Millie is an adorable 11-year-old Collie Cross who came into the Oldies Club rescue because her owners had moved to retirement accommodation and were finding it increasingly difficult to give her the exercise she needs. They had rescued Millie as a young dog, in Spain, and they loved her very much.

Millie came to an Oldies Club foster home in West Dorset where she quickly made herself at home and became good friends with the two resident dogs. As Millie’s foster carers had been looking for an addition to their doggy family, they had decided that if Millie settled in well with them, they would adopt her. And that is what they have done!

Millie is living on a farm where she enjoys playing in the fields, going for fun walks and chasing the ducks! She also loves to go for an outing to the beach and then to a coffee shop. She used to go out for coffee with her previous owners too and she knows that the word ‘Coffee’ means outing, bless her.

She is a quiet but cheeky girl with a sweet nature and a fun-loving outlook on life. She loves her food and she always knows when it is mealtime and she reliably provides a loud vocal reminder! Millie didn’t even lose her appetite after having a dental. When she arrived back home from the vets, she immediately ran to the dog food area and started to bark and jump about. “Small portions of light food” until she recovered from the anaesthetic really didn’t meet with Millie’s approval!

Millie, back home after her dental, with fetching purple bandage, and asking for her missed meal!

Millie’s new family are looking forward to taking her with them on holidays and simply giving her the best possible life a dog could wish for. They feel very lucky to have Senorita Millie as part of their family.
