22/1/2024 Sweet Toto is very happy to let us know that he has been adopted.

Sweetheart Toto is approximately 10 years old and is medium size. He was rescued by Nirina Dog Adoptions. from a kill shelter in Bosnia where he was attacked, which resulted in his losing his eye and his tail, so he is now nervous of other male dogs.
Toto has settled well in his foster home in Waterlooville, Hants., and been described as a very friendly boy. He loves his food and so will be easy to train. He has an amusing trick which is to see what you have in your hands and he will stand on his back legs and walk around.
Toto is a total sweetheart and loves a brush and a tummy rub. His ideal home would be as an only dog with an experienced dog owner and preferably in a quiet area as he is nervous of traffic. Toto is still getting used to walking on a lead and will need a patient owner and secure harness to make him feel safe and he will gain confidence with this.
Toto is not a cat lover but does get used to them after a while. He is still a bit nervous and can get freaked out occasionally, so he still needs to build up trust with a human.
