Gizmo is an adorable, 12 year old Shih Tzu who is looking for his forever and quiet home where any children are teenagers. He is a super little chap who is going to make someone very happy indeed and, meantime, he is being cared for offsite in a home provided by Dogs Trust Merseyside in Liverpool.
Gizmo is a quirky lad who has settled beautifully into his foster home. He is full of character and loves to play with the squeakiest of toys and makes silly noises whilst doing so! Gizmo enjoys getting out and about but, when he thinks he’s walked far enough, he will simply put the brakes on and refuse to move until you turn around.
Communication is one of his strong points and, when he wants something, he will bark at you until you figure it out! He doesn’t like the wind and rain or hot weather but he does enjoy sitting on your lap and being groomed.
Although friendly with other dogs, Gizmo can be a pest and doesn’t like rowdy dogs, so he is probably best as the only dog at home. He is house-trained and can be left alone for an hour or two.
Gizmo has a minor heart condition that does not require medication, but he will need his eyes lubricating daily for the foreseeable future.
