DILLON IS OUR OLD DOG OF THE WEEK!
He’s cheerful, loving and lollopy. Dillon is a lovely boy who can live with teenagers but wants to be the only pet at home. He needs experienced owners who will continue his reward-based training around other dogs and live in Cornwall. He loves toys, zoomies and cuddles! Please help Dillon by sharing his page!
Category: Adopt An Oldie
Please also consider our Overlooked Oldies- the dogs who have been patiently waiting for new homes longest of all. They desperately need homes of their own! You can submit an oldie for listing by our site editors here .
We also have some non-oldie dogs who need very special homes due to mental or physical problems, listed in Other Special Dogs Needing Homes. Please consider them!
Princess & Tinkerbell (Freshfields Animal Rescue, Liverpool)
So gorgeous and so loving, why hasn’t this wonderful pair of beauties found their forever home yet?! Most people looking here only want one new dog but these two have been together for 8 years and they snuggle as one. Could you be the kind person to help them both?
Sabby (Foal Farm, Kent)
Poor old Sabby is such a gorgeous Newfoundland that complete strangers want to rush up and fuss her… but she’s really shy! You will need to visit her many times before she’ll feel safe enough to live with you. Her substantial love is well worth it though!
Nikita (Carla Lane Animals In Need, Liverpool)
Nikita loves chicken, toys and a fuss (but only when she says so!). She’s good with other dogs on walks but won’t share her home (i.e. toys) with other pets or children. She’s a lady who knows her own mind and needs an experienced owner with a sense of humour.
Fluke (National Animal Welfare Trust, Cornwall)
This stunning Husky boy needs experienced owners with an active lifestyle because there’s no such thing as a walkies that’s too long! It would suit him best to have a fairly rural home, with no other pets or children and it needs to be in Cornwall.
Franky (RADAR Dog Rescue, South Yorrkshire)
Everybody loves Franky because he’s such a kissy, cuddly, fun-loving lad! He gets on well with other dogs and could live with one, but not cats (fun to chase) or children (easily bowled over). Franky loves life! If only he had a human of his own to share it with…
Roxy (Cheltenham Animal Shelter, Gloucestershire)
Roxy is a sweet Bull Mastiff girl who loves people. She needs an adult home as your only pet. A countryside home would be perfect as she needs walks away from other dogs. Could you help this big girl be happy again?
Suki (Freshfields Animal Rescue, Liverpool)
This delightful lady is giving you her most winsome smile, hoping you might be the one she can trust, love and entertain for the rest of her life. She needs an adult-only home with no other pets and experienced owners because she’s ever so slightly stubborn. Adorable, just… stubborn.
Thor (Cheltenham Animal Shelter, Gloucestershire)
Amusing, attentive and affectionate, Thor just needs to find the right people so he will know he belongs. He wants to be the only pet in an adult-only home and he needs a big garden as he can’t manage big walks these days. Could he be your doggy soul mate?
Mike (Dogs Trust Newbury, Berkshire)
Want a best friend who thinks you’re fascinating, loves your company and will do anything you ask if you have a treat in your hand? Then look no further than Mike! He wants to be the only pet in an adult only home… with tennis balls, toys and treats!
Markos (Animal Adoption International, fostered Leeds)
He’s big, soppy and wants to take you out for walkies, then relax at home with you. Markos loves company, especially when cuddles are on offer. He wants to be an only pet and to have a good sized garden but mostly he wants you to be there… to adore!
Obi, aka Mr Perfect! (Oldies Club, fostered Cambridgeshire)
21/11/2020 Gorgeous Obi had lots of lovely home offers and is now reserved.
Obi slotted in to his foster home straight away and is proving to be a gentle and well-mannered boy. He’s good with calm dogs and doesn’t take much notice of cats. Could you offer this star a new home?
Danny (Freshfields Animal Rescue, Liverpool)
With the bright eyes of a Terrier, the lollopy form of a Lurcher and the loving heart of…um…a really nice dog, Danny is seeking his human soul mate. He’s a shy and sensitive boy who doesn’t do children, other pets or surprises. He does do walkies, fuss and cuddles!
Gino (Greyhound Trust Nottingham)
Easy-going Gino is a lovely, placid boy who’s had a limited life so far. He needs owners who will show him all the love, walks and soft furnishings life has to offer. He’s a poised and gentle soul who still likes to play. He is simply beautiful!
