Gentle giant Zak is a stunning, black and tan Rottweiler who arrived at Leicester Animal Aid in poor physical health and even in pain. He’s ready for his loving retirement home now.
Zak is 10 years old and is adorable and so gentle. He has been such a sweet soul, just wanting love and attention. He is grateful for a warm bed, delicious food and cuddles. Zak has started to play with toys, especially tennis balls, which has been lovely to watch. He would like a calm and quiet home for his senior years and to be the only pet. He will need an adult-only environment.
Zak would be happy with a retirement home and short potters or simply garden exercise. He loves his homely comforts and being around people and travels well. It’s possible that Zak’s hearing is deteriorating, so it might be wise using hand cues as well as speech for his communication.
Zak has had a lump removed from his neck which the vets don’t believe to be cancerous, but he does have a few more lumps and bumps around his body. The vet has advised to leave them and let Zak enjoy his senior years unless he is in discomfort.
