Princess (the white Bichon Frise) and Noodles (the Poodle) are two besties, aged 8+ years, looking for a home together through Dogs Trust Merseyside in Liverpool. They are currently in a foster home waiting for their perfect person or people to find them.

Princess and Noodles can live with respectful children from age 8 but they want to be the only pets at home. They both get on with most other dogs when out and about but they don’t want to share their space with any. Noodles gets jealous enough when Princess is getting lots of attention without him, let alone any other pets soaking up the love!

Both these cuties are friendly with everyone they meet and affectionate with their people. Noodles is especially fond of being stroked but will settle for just being near you when you’re busy. Princess is very sweet-natured and happy to get some fuss from anyone, as well as tolerating Noodles if he gets uppity.

They need regular visits to the dog groomers and plenty of brushies at home too. Princess has skin issues which require medication. Noodles gets age-related pains in his back and legs which are controlled with daily medication, so he can stay as active as he wants to be.

Princess has some fatty lumps which are nothing to worry about. She has had the odd puddling incident when she’s just woken up but this has pretty well stopped since being in foster care. The key is getting her out in the garden quickly when she wakes, which just takes routine building, for both her person and her.

They are both well behaved in the home. They wouldn’t want to be left for long periods. Noodles brings his foster carer a toy when they return after being out for a while. Positive reinforcement, you see? You’ve got to reward the behaviour you want in your human and them finding their way home deserves some toy time. Poodles are very clever! Princess is quiet and relaxed at home. She’s a bit hard of hearing, so not much can disturb her contented, zen-like calm.
