Dearest Fido has been rescued from Romania in the hope of finding his forever retirement home in the U.K. He is currently residing in Tonew Kennels, Caldicot, South Wales, where he is proving to be a huge hit with all the staff.
Fido is a 14 year old, medium Crossbreed. If you are looking for a lovely boy with a heart of gold and who walks with perfection on the lead, then Fido is the gentleman you have been looking for.
This is what the staff have to say about Fido:
“Fido is incredibly fit for his age, walks on the lead with ease, doesn’t pull and loves to be out in the fields and on the lanes. He is amiable and content to go with both friends and complete strangers.
Fido’s love of freshly cooked chicken and general love of food/treats make it very easy for him to continue training.
Fido would fit beautifully into a home with a retired single or couple. As an only dog, he truly is a beautiful boy who has only ever endured difficulties in his previous life in Romania. Now it’s time for him to live at ease surrounded by a lot of love.”
The Rescue would consider a long-term (life) foster home for Fido where support with any medical needs are met. It’s important that any potential adopter is able to visit Fido in kennels and take him for a walk and get to know him before committing further.
Fido is neutered, vaccinated, blood tested, microchipped and flea/worm treated.
