Rocky (Settusfree, fostered Surrey)

Handsome Rocky is a 9 year old (born April 2016), white and orange Brittany Spaniel/Setter Cross. He is safely living in rescue with Settusfree having been relinquished by his adopter and now comfortably settled in a foster home in Guildford, Surrey. Rocky would suit a simple, quiet life and human company.

Rocky has really thrived in his foster home with daily countryside walks. He loves to stop and and sniff and walks well on his lead. He needs one good walk (about an hour) a day. His recall training is coming on well, but he is not yet reliable off-lead though it shouldn’t take long as he is very clever, treat orientated and has no prey drive.

Rocky’s favourite thing is humans and he loves to follow his human round the house helping with chores, etc. He gets on well with other dogs but would also be happy as a solo dog. He can be left for a couple of hours. He has not been tested with cats or with children, but older children can be considered. Rocky can be left for a few hours and does not get stressed.

Rocky walks nicely on the lead and is house-trained and clean in the home. He also travels well in the car. Rocky is a lovely natured dog, but he does not like his back legs being touched.

Rocky is neutered and has no known medical issues.
