Introducing, Luna the loveable Doodle ! To be precise, Luna is a Poodle/Golden Retriever cross who has found herself in Oldies Club care due to a change in family circumstances at her previous home. She is 7.5 yrs old and currently being fostered near Salisbury Plain in Wiltshire.

Summary: Luna is an affectionate and intelligent girl that thrives on human company. She would like to be the only dog in the home where she can get lots of attention, and would not be suitable in a home where she is left when people go to work for extended periods of time. An active girl that loves a good run, she would perhaps suit a retired person/couple who are around much of the time and are active themselves. She is a gentle and placid girl who could possibly live with sensible youngsters. Luna loves affection and is obedient. She is the most perfect girl !

Settled well in foster: Luna took only a few days to settle in at her foster home
Can be left : Luna is a calm and placid girl and quite happy to be left at home for a few hours on her own, and settles well until you return.

Fine when meeting dogs on walks: Luna is a friendly girl when she meets dogs out of the home, however, can be territorial inside the home with other dogs, and therefore is looking to be the only dog in her forever home. It is not known what Luna is like with cats and although she has apparently lived with cats in the past, she has not shared her foster home with any.
Could possibly live with children: It is not known how Luna would behave or feel living with children, as again she is currently in an adult only home. However, she is a gentle girl, not boisterous, so could possibly live with sensible, respectful youngsters.

So good on walks: Luna adores her walks. She is very well behaved and a pleasure to have by your side. Currently having a 45min walk where she is part off lead and able to have a good run, and another 20 min walk. Her foster carer says she could no doubt walk for longer, if you wished !
Great in the car: Luna gets into the car without a murmur, sits quietly and gets out when asked, except we are told when its a trip to the vets !
Favourite pastimes: Luna is a people dog, preferring them to other dogs. She loves nothing better than lying next to you on the sofa or just being by your side. Her ideal new owners would have plenty of time and love to give her.

No dislikes: To date, Luna’s foster carers have found nothing that upsets or fazes her. So long as she has her humans nearyby, she’s a happy girl.
Sleeps on her bed: Luna currently has her own bed where she likes to sleep, or also on the sofa where she is allowed, for lots of cuddle time.
Health notes: Loveable Luna has been vaccinated, wormed, treated for fleas and has also been recently spayed. She has Addisons Disease which is a hormonal condition, but this does not effect her day to day at all, and is kept in check with a daily tablet and an injection every month.

Foster carer’s description of Luna: They describe Luna as adorable, affectionate, intelligent and obedient, saying, “Whoever adopts her will have the loveliest dog you could want” …….
