Fluffy little Faye is a Corgi cross (with a meerkat or chinchilla, judging by her looks!) who can live with others dogs and cats as she’s a softy through and through. Comfort, peace and love are all she really wants. She’s a happy-go-lucky girl and will be a wonderfully cheerful, cuddly companion. Also, her ears are kind of funny!

JoJo (Friends of the Animals RCT, fostered Herefordshire)

With a constantly wagging tail and a ready smile, JoJo is just a lovely lady looking for a semi-retirement home where her people are close by and nice walks followed by lots of snoozing are on the cards. She’s well-mannered and can live with children and other dogs, plus probably cats. What a sweetheart.

Max is a sweet old boy who finds himself in need of a new home at the age of 13. He enjoys gentle walks, but will just stop and rest for 10 minutes if it all gets too much for his old bones. Leila can be shy of some men and would like a quiet home, but she likes children and needs to live with another dog to give her confidence and show her the ropes. Foxy is lucky to have been taken from her abusive owner, who was then prosecuted and found guilty. Foxy now deserves a home full of love and kindness. She is a loving, amazing girl but is frightened when left on her own. Poor Foxy has also just had a mast cell tumour removed. Diesel (RSPCA Macclesfield, fostered Congleton)

Diesel is such a cuddly boy! He’s really affectionate and wants his very own human to snuggle up to. He’ll snore away contentedly in your bed if possible. Loving company as he does, he’ll be happiest if someone’s at home with him most of the time. Just being near his human makes him happy. A tennis ball or Kong bring out his playful side which is a joy to watch. He’s fun, he’s jolly and he always wants a cuddle. Jack (Celia Hammond Animal Trust, Hastings)

Lovely, big, yellow Jack sadly came into rescue terrified after being badly beaten. Now, he loves pretty much everything and everybody and he is basically a very large, happy clown though it takes time to overcome his fears. Jack is looking for a local, rural home, ideally something like a stable yard. He adores other dogs and is also happy around cats and livestock. After all he’s been through, Jack deserves the best ever home. 15/12/16 – Still waiting!
