‘OLD DOG OF THE WEEK’ FEATURES NEW PHOTOS AND A FRESH WRITE-UP FOR AN OVERLOOKED OLDIE THAT HAS BEEN ON OUR WEBSITE FOR A WHILE BUT IS STILL WAITING FOR A NEW HOME.

Please help Rosie by sharing this page!

Cute little Rosie is an 11-year-old Yorkshire Terrier, in the care of Saving and Rehoming Strays in Ayr, Scotland. Her previous owner was no longer able to care for her due to their own health issues and so this sweet girl is looking for a peaceful retirement home filled with love.

Rosie could live with older children, confident cats and should be fine with another compatible, small dog or two. She can find larger dogs a bit worrying and loomy. This, in turn, can cause her to try and put them in their place. She’d rather just have a quiet life so she can get on with pottering around the garden or snoozing.

Rosie is an affectionate girl who loves to snuggle up next to her human, especially at night. She loves people but can get overwhemled in crowds and she’s a good guard dog at home.

Rosie likes gentle walks and will happily ride in a dog buggy for longer ones, so she can enjoy all the smells the world has to offer without getting too tired.

She has a touch of arthritis in her back legs but this is currently managed well with Newmove Max and CBD oil supplements. She’s had skin allergies in the past, but they’ve since cleared up with treatment and she’s now medication-free.

If you want to enquire about this sweet, loving little lady please contact Saving and Rehoming Strays as follows:
