12/11/09 – We’ve heard the sad news today that Kai has had to be put to sleep due to an illness. Sleep tight Kai.
This is Kai and he’s a gorgeous 9 year old Rottweiler who is being rehomed by Llanelli Dog’s Home in Carmarthenshire, South Wales.
Kai is an undemanding and gentle boy who just longs to be in a home of his own. He’s good around children of about 5 years+, but loves his peace and quiet so will need a child-free home. He’ll be more than happy to meet any visiting children though!
Kai is used to being around other dogs when he’s out walking, but he’d much prefer to have a home all of his own and he’s not used to cats either.
Kai needs a warm, comfortable retirement home where he can put up his big paws and relax. A couple of short walks every day, a garden to potter around in and a big, comfy bed to snuggle up into at night and he’ll think he’s in heaven!
This lovely old boy doesn’t deserve to spend his twilight years in kennels, yet he’s constantly overlooked because of his age. Please give him a second glance!
Kai isn’t neutered and he has a small growth at the side of his right eye which hasn’t been checked by a vet. He also has some cloudiness in one eye and his eyesight appears to be deteriorating. Prospective adopters will need to consider any future veterinary treatment Kai requires and discuss this with Llanelli Dog’s Home.
If you think you can offer Kai the kind of home he deserves, please contact Llanelli Dog’s Home as follows;
