Behold the sweet face of Archie and try not to become overwhelmed by his cuteness! This little chap is a 7 year old Jack Russell Terrier cross who has sadly spent nearly his entire life chained up. The poor little boy really needs some extra love, care and attention to make up for his sad past in a forever home where he will be cherished as he deserves to be. Right now, Archie is being fostered by Animal Adoption International in Scotland but if the right home is anywhere else in the UK, he can travel there!

Archie is as sweet and affectionate as he looks, but he is still affected by his past. He is quite anxious with other dogs and needs to be the only dog in his new home and to be kept away from other dogs as much as possible while he is out. He is not overly reactive at the distance, but he doesn’t want to get any closer. And, as he is a terrier, he has a strong prey drive so cannot live with cats or other small furries.

If you have a child and pet-free home for Archie, please do not be put off by his reactions to other animals. He will more than make up for this by showering you with the unconditional love and adoration only a dog can give. He will spend his days making you the centre of his world. He is super affectionate and adores being with people. All he wants are kisses and belly rubs in return.

Archie needs a quiet home, possibly in a rural or semi-rural area where he can avoid seeing other dog walkers. He would love a nice secure garden for running about and playing in. Mostly he just wants humans to love and to love them in return.
