Minnie and Marnie are a beautiful, bouncy pair of Cocker Spaniels (one working type and one show type), believed to be about 10 years old. They’re in foster care in Strathclyde, Glasgow, through Springer Rescue Scotland. They’d prefer a settled, adult only home as the only pets. Minnie needs human company most of the time to be happy.

Both these lovelies are still very active and love walks. Minnie loves cuddles and can be quite a character. She can become distressed if left alone and will take time to settle even with the company of Marnie.

Marnie is more laid back and Minnie sometimes bosses him around. They’re just like an old married couple! Marnie likes to carry shoes and socks around. Everyone needs a hobby, right?

They travel well in the car. On walks, they’re sometimes reactive to other dogs if they’re on the lead but this is improving with training. In typical spaniel style they pull on the lead as they love being out so much! Marnie also loves to chase a ball and retrieve it. They settle well in the house but need an owner who is happy for them to sleep in their bedroom, as Minnie can get distressed otherwise. Safest if everyone stays together, isn’t it?!

These cuties are both neutered/spayed. Marnie has an issue with his hips but this is being investigated.
