15/6/19 – Alfie has been adopted!
Alfie is a 13-year-old Whippet Cross who is with RSPCA Westmorland branch and is being rehomed under their Elderly Animal Rehoming Scheme (EARS), which offers help with vet’s fees.
Sweet little Alfie was found as a stray, so nothing is known of his previous life. He would be best suited to an adult-only household where he is your only pet. He’s hard of hearing and might even be completely deaf, bless him.
Alfie doesn’t need a great deal of exercise and is very happy to have just a little walk and a potter around the garden. He walks well on the lead and does a very nice ‘sit’ when a treat is offered. He should be fine to be left on his own for short periods.
Could you offer dear old Alfie plenty of love and happiness for his twilight years?
