23/7/19 – Millie has found a home!

Millie is a beautiful 14-year-old English Springer Spaniel who is at the Blue Cross rehoming centre in Thirsk, North Yorkshire, waiting for someone to offer her a home. Millie’s owner was sadly taken ill and so was unable to look after her.

Millie has poor hearing and eyesight but she is a sweet-natured girl who is very soft and loves people. She wouldn’t be comfortable living with another dog, so would like to be your only one. A quiet retirement home where she will get lots of cuddles and attention is what Blue Cross are hoping to find for Millie.

Millie has lots of love to give and she is fine to be around school age children. Millie still enjoys a little play with her ball. She drops it on your lap when she wants you to throw it, but her eyesight means she can’t always find it straight away, bless her.

Millie loves her food but, again, as her eyesight isn’t perfect, she can sometimes take a treat from you a little less than gently, so an open hand is always best.

Could you offer beautiful Millie the active retirement home she is dreaming of?
