1/2/23 – Lovely Holly has gone to her new home!

Cutie girl Holly is 7-years-old and in the care of RSPCA West Hatch in Taunton, Somerset. She’s a typical Terrier in that she’s a big, loveable character in a neat little package!
This fun-loving lady needs plenty to do, walks and garden time, but she wants peace and quiet at home. She needs to be the only pet in an adult-only household. She loves to settle down beside her human, preferably on the sofa, for a cuddle and a snooze after a busy time exploring and playing. She loves squeaky toys!
Holly must be walked where she won’t have to meet other dogs. She has strongly held views about the existence of other dogs. She just doesn’t hold with them! Being extremely bright and keen to please her human, she has improved with training. She will now focus on her handler and ignore dogs in the distance. As she’s only little, she’s easy enough to manage. She even comes with a handle!
Holly is not too old to learn new tricks and has all the basics of obedience training in place already. RSPCA West Hatch have a behaviourist to offer advice. There’s no need for her feelings about other dogs to get in the way of your enjoyment of taking her out. She’s a really fun companion! You just have to be careful where you take her. Unless it’s a terrier-secure field, she doesn’t go off lead on walks because she’d disappear chasing squirrels given the chance.
Holly is spayed and she’s a tough little cookie. She had a mammary mass removed successfully before coming to RSPCA West Hatch. The vet can’t be sure it won’t return but we know that won’t deter oldie lovers. As long as it’s kept an eye on, Holly will take any future intervention in her dinky stride.
