13/4/24 – Daisy has found a home!

Dear Daisy is such a sweet Golden Oldie and has been with Dogs Trust in Merseyside for a few months now without getting noticed, sadly. She’s looking for a cosy retirement home for her golden years and wants to leave the centre behind.

Daisy is a 14 year old, small Jack Russell Terrier Cross. She takes her time to feel confident in new places but, as long as people are patient with her, she’ll adjust. She settles nicely in her kennel and likes to make herself a little blanket nest.

Daisy is still active and likes her walks and chasing tennis balls, as well as being made a fuss of by her carers. Daisy is worried by other dogs but will walk with smaller, quiet ones. She doesn’t like cats so will need to be the only pet at home, but she can live with children of secondary school age.

Daisy has a grade 5 heart murmur and will need medication for the rest of her life. She has been to see the vet and takes everything in her stride, happily saying hello to people she meets.
