This cheerful, devoted pair of Staffies are Boycie (left, age 11) and Poppy (right, age 9). They’re in the care of Battersea Dogs and Cats Home, at their kennels in Old Windsor, Berkshire.
They want to be the only pets at home and could live with teenagers. They love to play ball games!
These affectionate dogs entertain staff everyday with their antics. One staff member said, “Poppy loves people and will go over for a fuss when she sees people. Boycie is always excited to see people and likes to be chatty when greeting – unless he has a toy to bring to you of course, and his favourite is a football.
“Poppy travels quietly in the car, but Boycie can be vocal, however he is much better after a walk where he tends to be more settled. They love going for walks together and like to sniff around. They tend to keep to themselves if there are other dogs around. When they are settled and have had some exercise, they like to sit on or next to you for a fuss.”
In their previous home they were clean and well behaved. They could be left for short periods. Once settled in their new home, this should be fine for them again. They will need a secure garden to play in and plenty of exercise as they’re both still active dogs.
Poppy and Boycie are all about fun times and loving their humans. They can live in any sort of setting, as long as they get the walkies, garden games and sofa snuggles they need.
Poppy and Boycie are both neutered, healthy and ready for their forever humans to find them.
