If you’re looking for a sweet, people-loving, little boy to share your life with, then look no further. Bruno is a lovely, 10 year old Bichon Frise with a big personality and lots of love to give. He is looking for a calm retirement home where he can be cherished and, meantime, he is being looked after by Wellingborough Dog Welfare in Northamptonshire.
Bruno absolutely adores being with people and is happiest when he’s part of the action. He’s a real little companion dog who thrives on human company. Despite his age, Bruno still has plenty of energy and really enjoys his walks. He would suit a home that can give him regular outings and gentle exercise.
Don’t be fooled by the word “retirement”, Bruno’s still full of life and character. He does like to bark and his bark amusingly sounds a bit like a seal, which only adds to his charm! Bruno is fine with other dogs and children aged 8+ years old.
Bruno loves his food and gets very excited at mealtimes. He can be a bit snatchy, though it’s worth noting he is currently very underweight and will need someone committed to helping him regain condition in a safe, steady way.
Grooming is essential for Bruno, as with all Bichons, so his new family must be prepared for regular brushing and professional grooming. With some patience, care and lots of affection, Bruno could be the perfect companion in his forever family.
