Beautiful French Bulldog Fendi has come into the safe hands of Celandine Wood Animal Rescue in Wales following the heartbreaking loss of her owner. This lovely girl is now looking for a new family to call her own.
Fendi is 8 years old and, despite all the changes she’s experienced, she has remained the sweetest little soul. She’s described as a lovely, chilled, calm and affectionate girl who simply enjoys being part of the family.
Around the home Fendi is a dream. She’s fully house-trained, quiet and settled, and happy to snooze in her own bed. While she doesn’t particularly enjoy being left, she happily copes with a normal working day without becoming anxious or destructive.
Fendi loves meeting new people and is always friendly with visitors. She’s lived alongside a 12-year-old child and has regularly spent time with younger grandchildren without any concerns. However, it’s thought that her laid-back personality would be best suited to a calm home with older or respectful children who will appreciate her relaxed nature.
Fendi has previously lived with three other French Bulldogs and currently lives happily with another dog, enjoying a play when the mood takes her. She could live as an only dog or with another friendly companion. She has shown some mild resource guarding in the past, occasionally showing her teeth over high-value items, but this has never progressed any further and she responds well to verbal guidance.
Walks are taken at her pace. She enjoys shorter, slower strolls rather than big adventures and walks nicely on a harness with no lead reactivity. She also enjoys a game with her favourite ball and travels reasonably well in the car, although she can be a little anxious on longer journeys.
Fendi is fit and healthy, spayed, and has no known medical conditions. The only thing to note is that poultry doesn’t agree with her tummy, so she does best on a grain-free beef or lamb diet.
