Morris (Leicester Animal Aid)

Morris is a handsome, 7 year old Crossbreed and is a very loving and sweet boy when he gets to know you. He’s cuddly and will happily curl up on your knee. He’s currently being cared for by Leicester Animal Aid and looking forward to meeting his new people.

Morris is a busy boy and has an active mind that needs channelling into. A calm and soft approach is the best way to build a relationship with him. A steady little walker and house-trained, Morris loves having his head in bushes and hedgerows like Spaniels do. He loves resting his head on your shoulder, carrying his toys around and playing in his paddling pool.

It can take Morris a little while to settle into a new routine and feel comfortable within his own presence but, with patience and kindness (as well as treats), he is a happy and clever boy. He can struggle initially with new people and handling but is a wriggly, excitable bundle of fun when out of his shell.

Morris will need a gradual introduction to being left and will need a relationship being built with a professional groomer. He is currently happy meeting new dogs as play mates but prefers to be the only pet in an adult home; he just loves adults.
