Tara is a small to medium sized gentle crossbreed lady aged around twelve years old. Safe Rescue have her settled in a foster home in Norwich, Norfolk, but she is looking for a wonderful forever home in which to spend her twilight years.

Tara has come into the care of Safe Rescue due to health issues of her last owners. She can live with or without other dogs and has lived with cats previously. She is a doggy social girl and gets on well with other doggy chums.

Tara loves her walks and days out and would make a wonderful companion for some lucky person. She would like an adult family and can be wary of some men, but is a gentle and friendly girl that will thrive in a loving and peaceful home. She is such a sweet and affectionate girl and adores being cuddled.

Please note: When you adopt a Safe Rescue dog, you MUST use a slip lead. This will keep your dog safe: your new dog will be nervous and will not trust you, and you will not know which situations might upset your dog. If your dog panics, then a slip lead is the only way to prevent your dog from escaping (many dogs can escape from a collar and/or harness). It will take AT LEAST 3-6 months for your dog to settle-in and for you to know your dog fully (longer for nervous dogs). The slip lead must ALWAYS be used during this settling-in period. Further details can be found on Tara’s home page here
