Gorgeous golden oldies Greyhound Mouse and Lurcher Max have found themselves in the care of Dogs Trust Merseyside in Liverpool through no fault of their own. They are now looking for a new family who can offer them a quiet and comfortable home that they can share together.

Mouse and Max would love a caring home free from any other pets and where any children are over the age of 12. They are currently being looked after in a foster home and would make a beautiful addition to a calm and quiet home that they can both relax in and enjoy.

Nap-loving Mouse is the sweetest and most gentle lady who, along with her friend Max, steals hearts wherever she goes. She loves to relax in her bed and has settled in brilliantly in a foster home. In fact, she and Max go to the office with their foster carer and have become work dogs too.

Mouse walks everso beautifully on her lead but can be quite timid and appreciates being given the time to gather some courage in new places. She will need her new home to be calm and quiet as she is wary of loud noises. Mouse is not a fan of squeaky toys and much prefers to have quiet toys thrown about for her to chase.

Max is super affectionate and loves to snuggle up next to you. He is cheeky enough to nudge you when he feels he is not receiving enough attention. He is generally a relaxed boy who has settled well into his foster home and enjoys a cuddle. He walks beautifully on his lead, however he will react at dogs if they bark at him first, otherwise he’s happy to ignore them. Max will need a secure garden with suitably high fencing as, despite his age, he will attempt to jump if he sees a cat.

Mouse and Max have even become office dogs, happily snoozing away in their foster carer’s workplace and lapping up all the fuss and snacks! They are house-trained and could be left for three to four hours without worry once settled.
