Blue is a gentle and adorable Staffie, DOB 19.08.17 looking for his forever home through Rescue Remedies. His owner who had loved and cared for Blue since he was a puppy has sadly passed away and Blue is now waiting in his foster home in Brentford, West London for his next chapter to begin.
Blue is a very affectionate boy and loves being close to his humans, snuggling up close on the sofa. He adores being stroked.
Blue is such a good boy when out on walks which he really enjoys. He ignores all kinds of noises and potential distractions, eg ducks and pigeons and is a friendly boy to other dogs he comes across. Nothing seems to rattle him as he focusses on his immediate surroundings and will turn and check in with his walker frequently.
He walks purposely forward without actually pulling, you definitely know he’s on his way somewhere but he’s tuned into the person walking. If you ask him to wait when you approach the kerb he will look at you and pause until you say it’s okay.
Blue travels quietly and calmly in the car, either sleeping or gazing out the window.
Older sensible children are fine for Blue and living with other dogs can’t be ruled out, but would depend on the experience of the adopter and with cautious introductions.
Blue’s foster carer says that “when the book group met at the house Blue loved meeting everyone and was very well mannered. He got up on the sofa between two guests and fell asleep. Everyone loved him and declared him an honorary member”….. Wouldn’t that make you so proud !
He is described as “thoughtful, polite, intuitive and communicative with people”, is clean in the house and will come and find you when he wants to go out. If he is outside and wants to come in he will gently tap on the door to let you know he’s there. Blue can be left on his own for a few hours.
