Lovely Lurcher Cross Delores is available and ready to go to her new home please. Meantime, she’s in the care of Jerry Green Dog Rescue and based in South Lincolnshire. What she really wants is simple: a safe, warm home, a kind human (or two) and plenty of love to share.
Delores is medium size and is 9 years old, but she doesn’t don’t always feel her age and still gets bursts of energy that surprise everyone — including herself. One minute she’s snoozing like a professional napper, and the next it’s zoomies, with tail wagging, paws flying and living her best life. She’d also really love a secure garden where she can stretch her legs, have a little run, and enjoy the fresh air. Nothing too wild, just a safe space for the occasional zoomie session and a sniff around.
Delores didn’t always have it easy as she found as a stray, but she hasn’t let that dull her spirit. She greets everyone like an old friend, with the waggiest tail you’ve ever seen and a heart full of love just waiting to be shared. She enjoys a good, cozy snooze, or several, and takes her relaxation very seriously, so she’d love a home with lots of comfy spots where she can curl up and dream the day away. A soft bed, a sofa, maybe even a sunny corner? Perfect.
Delores is quite an easygoing girl and is house-trained. She can be left alone for a couple of hours once she has settled in, so she’d suit first-time dog owners or anyone looking for a gentle, loving companion. While she’d prefer to be the only dog in the home (she does like her peace and quiet), she’s happy to have doggy friends when out and about on walks. Delores could also live with children aged 11+.
