So handsome Fergus is an 8 year old, male, black Sproodle, standing 26 inches to the withers. He is being cared for in a foster home in Wiltshire provided by Doodle Trust, and looking for his forever home with a confident, smaller dog.

Fergus is an active, affectionate lad who brings a toy to greet you every morning and sprinkles gentle licks of love throughout the day. He is housetrained, obedient and non-destructive, with good recall once he knows you are his person.

Fergus enjoys an active lifestyle and needs at least 1 hour and 45 minutes of exercise daily, plus ongoing mental stimulation. He loves long walks, garden games and anything involving toys — especially balls, which are his weakness and best enjoyed in moderation. He can be left for a couple of hours, but only with another dog present, otherwise he will bark or howl.

Fergus is a sweet, playful boy who settles beautifully after a full day and sleeps quietly near you or in his bed. He needs someone confident, patient and committed to continuing his confidence building alongside a resident dog.

Fergus is good with children and would suit living with those aged 12+. He is not used to cats and so cannot be rehomed with them. Fergus is house-trained and clean in the home. He also travels well in the car.

Fergus is neutered and has a small, fluid-filled cyst near his left eye that the vet advises leaving alone.
