What a wonderful little chap is Phillip – Big body on little legs and a personality that everyone falls in love with !

Phillip is around 8yrs old and a cross breed boy who originates from a shelter in Romania. He was a little star there and on numerous visits by Safe Rescue was seen happily wandering about freely. However, as he is getting older it was felt that he now needed a warm loving home in which to spend his retirement years.

Phillip gets on well with other dogs both in and out of the home. He could live happily as an only dog or alongside others, but what he really loves is his humans and will make the most loyal companion.

He adores his little walks and is slowly getting used to the lead as this is a really new thing for him, but he is improving everyday and gradually realising that going on the lead means exciting trips out with his humans !

Phillip can initially be a little hesitant with strangers but once his trust is earned you wouldn’t find a more loyal friend. He has become a little rotund whilst at the shelter as he wasn’t getting walks, so will need to increase his fitness levels and lose a few pounds in his forever home.

Phillip would like an adult home environment with no cats and most importantly humans that will love him and give him the affection he has never known.

Please note – Safe Rescue have a policy that all dogs adopted from them must wear a slip lead on walks. Please only enquire about Safe Rescue dogs if you are happy to always use a slip lead – extendable leads are not acceptable to Safe Rescue. All dogs have to be collected and a crate must be used. Full details of their rehoming policy are on Phillips home page here.
