As sweet as her name, Honey is an adorable, 8 year old, female Golden Retriever who is looking for her forever sofa to call her own and, more importantly, a very special person to call her best friend. Southern Golden Retriever Rescue in Kent are helping her realise her dream.

Honey is a working Golden who loves life. She enjoys woodland walks, having fun with her gundog training, and then coming home to curl up on the sofa and relax. She is a very people-oriented girl and would thrive with someone who is at home with her and doesn’t go out to work. Her ideal home would be with someone who enjoys the great outdoors and would love to have Honey by their side.
Honey would prefer to be the only pet in the home. She can live with older, dog-savvy children, provided she has her own quiet space where she can retreat for some well-earned, quality sleep. Out on walks, Honey has a pretty good recall, although there is one little complication – squirrels! If she spots one, all bets are off and she will definitely be tempted to give chase!

Honey is simply a super Golden Retriever who is loving, affectionate, fun and ready to form a wonderful bond with her new best friend. Homes within the South East of England will be given priority.
