9/7/10 Sam the Springer unfortunately had to be put to sleep recently following a collapse and subsequent discovery of a tumour. Poor Sam. :(

—————

Sam is an 11 year old Springer Spaniel who is in the care of Yorkshire Rose Dog Rescue in Bradford because his elderly owner is unable to keep him.

Sam is a fabulous old man who is very sociable with other dogs, and he gets on fine with cats. He can sometimes be a little grumpy and might need a little gentle persuasion to encourage him to do things, bless him.

Sam likes the quiet life and would be best homed without very young children. He has spent many years living in a upstairs flat and is very overweight. Sam dreams of a forever home with a garden, gentle walks and a nice fire to curl up in front of.

Sam has a thyroid condition, the tablets for which cost approx £15 per month.
