10/9/12 Sad news about Barney. His health deteriorated to the point where on vet’s advice he had to be put to sleep. Rest in peace, Barney. :(

Barney is about 14 years old. He’s a Cocker Spaniel, being rehomed by Pro Dogs Direct, and is in one of their foster homes, in Gillingham, Kent.
Barney is a lovely chap who is looking for a quiet retirement home as his owner has sadly had to move into a home. He’s not used to children but is used to living with a cat so is cat friendly. Although Barney has never lived with another dog he is fine with them when out and about.
As Barney is a mature chap he no longer needs long walks, just a gentle stroll keeps him happy. He loves attention and is a very affectionate boy.
Barney has not been neutered and, due to his age, the vets have advised against having it done. He has a little rheumatism and has a daily medication added to his meals.
Barney really is a treasure who will reward you with spaniely devotion.
