26/9/14 – We have been told that Granny sadly had to be put to sleep due to her mammary tumours :( Sleep tight, gentle girl.

This is a very special older lady with a lovely character and a story to tell. Granny came into the care of Four Paws Animal Rescue just a few weeks ago from the pound. She had an enormous mammary tumour, no teeth and most of her bottom jaw missing, so her tongue hangs out. It was thought she had little time left, but when taken to the vets, they said it was operable and she has come through it brilliantly. She now has a new lease of life, loving being able to be comfortable again.

Granny is a 14 years young Jack Russell Terrier. She is so loving and no trouble at all in her foster home in Blackwood, south Wales and her carer hardly knows she’s there. She’s living quite happily with 5 Yorkshire Terriers but doesn’t interact with them and could possibly be happy as an only dog.

Granny travels great in the car on even long journeys. She gets on well with people but would prefer a home without children and has not been tested with cats. She eats well on wet and dry small kibble and is house-trained.

Granny surely deserves a wonderful home after all she’s been through.
