9/11/17 – Gorgeous, blind Harley has gone to his new home. Wonderful news!

Please meet affectionate Harley who is looking for a special home as he is blind. He is in the care of the RSPCA Westmorland in Cumbria who would love to help him find his forever home.

Harley is a 7 year old, tan Crossbreed who is a quiet boy and full of love. He is very happy and affectionate and seems to cope well with his disability. All contact with Harley is, of course, done by way of speech and touch. He reacts very positively to being spoken to, adores being stroked and fussed, and will respond with a waggy tail to let you know he’s happy.

Harley walks very nicely on the lead. He will come to you when called and, when asked to sit, will usually give you a paw at the same time. He will happily play with squeaky toys as he is able to track their sound and scent.

Understandably, Harley can find new surroundings stressful and he can be nervous with new people until he gets to know them. He would prefer an adult-only home without cats. It might also benefit Harley to be rehomed with a calm and friendly dog who can help him settle in to his new life.

Harley will need a quiet home with someone who is able to be with him all the time until he gets used to his new environment and everything in it.
