8/6/19 – Great news! Buddy has found a home!

Buddy is a 13-year-old Cocker Spaniel boy who is with All Animals Rescue and Rehome in Essex after he was taken to the vet to be put to sleep.

Luckily for Buddy, the vet nurse asked AARR to help him, and what a sorry state he arrived in. Buddy had never seen a vet, he needed surgery on both eyes, a castration and a dental with some teeth being removed. He also has an old untreated cruciate repair, so had no muscle on his back leg, however he is slowly building it now. Buddy is thankfully now very well and should have many more years left in him.

Buddy is almost deaf and has very limited vision, but despite this he is the happiest little fellow. For an older dog he is very agile and he loves walks and even a little run. Buddy is very affectionate and loves to cuddle up next to you. He always goes to his carer for a snuggle at bedtime, bless him!

Buddy travels well and is happy to be left at home snoozing for a couple of hours while you go out. He is clean in the house and fine with other dogs. Due to his age he would like an adult-only home.

Could you offer this very deserving boy a loving home in which to spend his twilight years in comfort and with lots of love?
