19/3/19 – We are so pleased to hear that, thanks to her appearance on the Oldies Club website, Penny has gone to a new home. The kennels found it heartwarming that lots of people saw Penny on our website and then enquired about offering her a home. Wonderful news!
This little sweetheart is Penny, a Patterdale Terrier girl who is thought to be about 11 years old. Penny is in the care of Whitley Bay Kennels and Cattery, Tyne and Wear.
The kennels have boarded Penny many times over the last 5 or 6 years, when her owner needed their help. Unfortunately, during her most recent stay, Penny’s owner sadly passed away and, as she had no family, the lovely people at the boarding kennels have taken Penny under their wing and are looking for a suitable new home for her.
Penny is pretty fit and healthy for her age. She is a really sweet, affectionate girl who loves to sit next to you on the sofa and relax. She is used to living with an older lady, so a similar, quiet home would be perfect.
Penny would like to be the only pet in her new home. She isn’t always sure about other dogs – she will just ignore some, but take exception to others. It is thought that she wouldn’t be suitable to live with cats. Penny is up-to-date with her vaccinations.
Richard at the kennels has known Penny for many years and has seen that she is lovely with every person she meets. He says that Penny is a sweetheart.
The kennels have confirmed that if Penny’s new home didn’t work out for any reason, they would take her back, so she does have backup.
Could you offer pretty Penny a quiet and comfortable new home, together with lots of love?
