10/01/2021 – Dave has been adopted! Hooray!
Gorgeous Dave is a medium-sized older boy who has arrived in the UK from Romania and is now in kennels in York. He is being rehomed by Romanian Rescue Appeal.
Dave needs a patient and loving family, preferably without children. He has been out with other dogs but he seems to prefer his own company and needs to be homed as an only dog. He appears to have reduced hearing and vision.
He’s a lovely old boy who doesn’t ask for much. He needs a quiet home with a secure garden where he can come and go as he pleases. Oh, and he’d like a few ear rubs each day and a bed next to a nice warm fire. The rescue has discovered that Dave really does enjoy his home comforts, bless him!
Dave is neutered. He is adapting to life off the streets and the rescue is working to get him used to walks and leads etc. He is reluctant on the lead so will benefit from an experienced owner who has time to give him the attention he deserves.
Dave really is a lovely boy and he will thoroughly appreciate some love and comfort for his autumn years.
Romanian Rescue Appeal rehome all over the country, however you will need your own transport to go to collect your dog.
