18/5/20 – Big Paddy has found a new home!

Just how gorgeous is Paddy? He’s a fabulously big lad and even bigger in the fur! Dogs Trust Merseyside are sure he won’t have to wait long before he’s snapped up and, meanwhile, he’s enjoying meeting people at the centre.
Paddy is over 8 years old and he’s a gentle giant. He’s a typically aloof Akita but he is prone to a bout of playtime at any given moment, especially if he’s encouraged. In fact, he loves playing with toys and games. He’s a bright spark and clever.
Paddy can walk with other dogs but, given his size and excitement levels, he would be better as the only dog in the home. He’d love some walking buddies outside the house though, but has a tendency to almost squish the smaller ones with joy.
Paddy is housetrained, and he needs to live with children aged 15 and over, as his experiences with younger kids can be overwhelming due to his size and bouncy excitement.
