Poor Toby’s history has been filled with nothing but sadness, but his life is on the mend now that he is being cared for in a foster home near Norwich, Norfolk, provided by Safe Rescue.

Toby is a medium-sized Crossbreed and is around eight years old. He has been kept all of his life on a short chain in Romania, never experiencing any of the good things in life or any freedom of will. At some point during this time, Toby developed cataracts on his eyes and by the time he was found and rescued he had sadly been complete blind for quite some time.

When Toby arrived in foster care recently, the possibility of having the cataracts removed was checked but, sadly, this is not an option for him, so instead he is looking for a kind and understanding home where he can enjoy nice things for the very first time.

Toby needs a quiet home life with no children. He likes other dogs but wouldn’t be able to cope with any that are overly boisterous. He has clearly been abused in his life and movement around him needs to be calm and steady or he will crouch to the floor anticipating being hit. This is a very sad story that a very special person can bring a happy ending to.

Toby is neutered, microchipped and an adoption fee and home check apply.
