Adorable Banjo is a very sweet, senior lady looking for her retirement home, after being handed into St. Giles Animal Rescue in Somerset due to a change in family circumstances. She would love to find a loving retirement home as soon as possible.

Banjo is a red Irish Terrier and is 14 years old. She enjoys human company and would like a family who can be with her most of the time. Banjo likes lots of cuddles and will nudge you for more. She will need an understanding home due to being deaf. She also has an old injury to her back leg; however, she isn’t in any pain with this.

Banjo isn’t very interested in other dogs and so would like to be the only animal in the home. She could potentially live with children pending suitable meet and greets.

Banjo’s ideal home would be with a quiet family or retired couple with a lovely garden for her to relax in, and to be taken on short walks to sniff and explore.
