19/2/23 – Cassie has found a home!

This gorgeous girl is called Cassie and she is a Patterdale/Lakeland Terrier Cross. She’s looking for a special home with the help of Animal Rescue Cymru based in West Wales.
Cassie is approximately 10 years old, but don’t be deceived by her age; she loves her walks, has plenty of energy and thinks she is still a puppy! She is very people friendly, although it’s felt that she will need an adult-only home, with no visiting young children as she may be too excitable for them (unless they are very dog-savvy children).
Cassie will also need a home without any other dogs, cats or other small furries as she has quite a high prey drive, which is typical of so many terrier breeds. She will be best suited to a rural home with a very secure garden and no close neighbours or passing people. Cassie would like plenty of space to run and play and where she will be less likely to meet other dogs.
When out on walks, Cassie will need to wear a muzzle which she is quite happy to do. She will be a challenge, but she is a loving girl who enjoys her home comforts and loves her food. There is the perfect, forever home for her out there which she deserves.
