23/11/22 – Monty’s found a home!

Gorgeous Monty has come to Safe Rescue recently from a house of twelve dogs where the pack dynamics were not working well. He’s current living in a foster home in Norwich, Norfolk, until his new owner takes him home.

Monty is a 7 year old Retriever (possibly Cross). He is a very friendly chap though he had never been on a lead prior to coming into rescue, so he will need to gain confidence on walks.

Monty adores the 11 year old child in his foster home. He is getting on well with the dogs in his foster home, but he had issues with a male in his last home so he will be rehomed as an only dog or with just one other female. He has not been cat tested.

Note: Safe Rescue have a policy that all dogs adopted from them must wear a slip lead on walks. Please only enquire about Safe Rescue dogs if you are happy to always use a slip lead – extendable leads are not acceptable to Safe Rescue. All dogs have to be collected and a crate must be used. Full details of their rehoming policy are on Monty’s details on Safe Rescue’s Facebook.
