Lovely Luca is an 8 year old Labrador Cross. He was rescued when he was just 4 months old and has spent his entire life at a shelter. This stunning black boy has aged beyond his years due to the stress of shelter life. Hope VMS Elaine’s Dogs were so happy when he got an opportunity to live in his very own foster home in West Sussex but, sadly, the busy home he’s in at the moment is a bit too much for him to cope with.
Luca still enjoys his daily walks and loves to go out and about exploring new smells and places. At home, he prefers to sunbathe or just relax in his bed. He can be left on his own for a couple of hours.
At the moment, Luca is living with another Labrador Cross he gets along with pretty well. So he could live in a home with another dog. He passed a cat test but, due to the fact that he will probably need a long time to settle in, the Rescue is looking for a cat and small furries-free home. Same goes for the children; older teenagers are fine, but a home with kids under 12 years old will not be considered. Ideally, a home with people who understand that dogs need time to settle in would be a perfect one.
Luca has no medical issues. He is neutered and vaccinated and in a search of a retirement home.
