Before coming to the U.K. in August, poor Jay had been in Romanian shelters for lots of years and Romanian Rescue Appeal are keeping their fingers firmly crossed that his furever home is soon found. Meantime, he is enjoying the lovely comforts of a foster home in Sunderland SR2.
Dear Jay is a very sweet older boy of 13 years and is a golden Crossbreed. However, do not let his age fool you as he is still very young-at-heart and has the energy of a much younger dog. He is rather a handsome, large lad who is very sweet natured and loves cuddles.
Jay also enjoys his walks and lazing in the garden. He enjoys meeting other dogs on walks and allows children to pet him, although he would prefer a home with older children only or a quiet, adult one.
Jay is still a bit jumpy by noises he is not used to, but generally he is pretty grounded. He does not like cats, so a cat-free home is required please. Jay has been neutered and has no known medical conditions.
