This adorable pair called Romeo and Juliet have been together all their lives and would like to find their loving, forever home together. They are being cared for by the RSPCA Lancashire East Branch in Accrington until then.

Romeo and Juliet are a beautiful, bonded duo of tri-coloured Staffordshire Bull Terriers. Romeo is 9 years young and is full of energy. He loves his walks and is very food motivated. He walks really well most of the time and the only time he can be strong is if he gets a good scent of something exciting.

Romeo is not keen on having dogs in his face and can be vocal towards them, but this has been worked on and he has come on leaps and bounds and will walk past a dog at distance. His new family would need to continue this training with him. Romeo would loved nothing more than to be cuddled up on the sofa with you and his sister.

Juliet is a sweet and gentle lady and is 11 years old. She gives just the best puppy dog eyes. She enjoys her walks but sometimes can find it a little hard to keep up with her brother going up a hill. She walks beautifully on the lead and will pass other dogs, but she would rather not have them in her face. Juliet loves nothing more than to be pampered and cuddled up on the sofa next to you and her brother.

As with any dog that comes from kennels, it’s not sure whether Romeo and Juliet will be house-trained or not, but you will be provided with tips should this become a problem. When they first arrived, they both did settle, but now they are becoming more unsettled and they can be vocal in the kennel. Ideally, they need an adult home with someone who will be around most of the day and with no other pets.

Romeo and Juliet are neutered and both take Yumove for joints. Romeo is on Previcox to help with old age and Juliet currently takes Pardale which is being reduced.
