7/12/23 – Roxy has found a home!

Roxy is a 9 year 9 month old, beautiful, tan and white Staffordshire Bull Terrier. She would like a home where she is the only pet in the house where any children are teenagers and she would prefer to live away from the inner city. Meantime, she is being cared for by Battersea Dogs and Cats Home in Old Windsor.
Roxy is spending time in a foster home where she settled quickly and is housetrained. She has enjoyed getting lots of fuss; belly and ear rubs are her favourite. Her foster carers say she travels well in the car and walks well on-lead. Her favourite things to do are playing with tennis balls and spending time with her favourite people.
Roxy is an affectionate, fun and friendly girl who loves to play. She enjoys her walks and likes watching the world go by. She is looking for a home with people who have owned dogs before and are able to continue the training that has been started at Battersea Old Windsor.
Roxy is looking for a home with a private and secure garden as she will need this space to have a good run around in. She loves to play but can become obsessed with tennis balls so new owners will need to carry on with her training around this.
Roxy can be intolerant of other dogs so will need managing around dogs on walks and being walked in quieter areas where there won’t be lots of off-lead dogs running up to her. She can walk nicely with dogs who are independent, so she would benefit from calm, on-lead dog friends.
